Dial a Carpet Cleaner & Pest Control

Dial a Carpet Cleaner & Pest Control is a family owned and operated business with almost four decades of experience. Barry McFadzen has spent more than 38 years in the Mackay cleaning industry. Barry and his team are certified by the Institute of Cleaning and Restoration.

The company operates throughout Mackay and is opening a second branch in Brisbane. It uses steam extraction as its carpet cleaning method. Services include carpet and upholstery cleaning, pest control, high pressure wash downs, office cleaning, stain removal, general cleaning and tile cleaning.

Households and renters in Mackay have turned to this carpet and upholstery cleaning operation for both routine home cleans and end-of-lease work, and the feedback gathered across those jobs centres on Barry, whose manner and workmanship come up again and again. Customers describe a service that is responsive and helpful over the phone and by text before the booking, then friendly and polite in person on the day, with punctuality noted as a given rather than an exception.

The recurring theme in the accounts is the standard of the finished result: carpets cleaned in homes are described as thoroughly and professionally handled, and the steam clean for a property handover, combined with pest control, is singled out as a job done well. Reviewers often mention that the pricing was fair for the work carried out, and several point to Barry's depth of experience in carpet cleaning as the reason the outcome met expectations. Reliability and an understanding approach to each property are also raised, with customers saying they would call on the business again for future cleaning. Repeat bookings and word-of-mouth referrals around the district suggest the impressions have held up over time.
