Gutter-Vac Brisbane South

Gutter-Vac was founded in 1995 by Warren Ballantyne, who pioneered the first effective gutter vacuuming machine. The company has been vacuum cleaning gutters for over 20 years and franchising in Australia since 2000. It operates in eight Australian States and Territories and is the largest gutter vacuum cleaning network in the world. Gutter-Vac Brisbane South is owned by David Cotelli, who has delivered gutter cleaning services to the Brisbane South region for the past eight years.

The franchise offers vacuum cleaning of commercial and domestic gutters, roofs, solar PV panels, ceiling cavities and downpipes. Its pressure cleaning service covers roofs, driveways, wine vats, walls and soffit areas on residential, commercial and industrial buildings. Gutter vacuum units use wet-dry technology to clean sludge and other wet materials, and the service system allows for quick and safe removal of debris and leaves.

The company can clean water tanks while they are still full of water, leaving the tank debris and bacteria free. Trained operators can recommend and install gutter guard products while cleaning gutters, and provide bird proofing in a humane way that does not cause injury or harm to birds. Technicians have specialised training in Gutter-Vac technology and carry comprehensive insurance. A Customer Satisfaction Guarantee is offered. Gutter-Vac and its franchisees contribute monthly to a Regeneration Program in partnership with Carbon Neutral.

Reliability and thorough workmanship come through as the themes that recur most often in feedback about Gutter-Vac Brisbane South. Reviewers often mention that crews arrive when they say they will, carry out the job exactly as promised, and leave the site neat, with debris and surrounding drains cleared away afterwards. The before and after photographs stand out as a detail that several buyers describe as helpful, giving a clear record of blocked gutters and the finished result. Blake features often in accounts, sometimes alongside Bailey or Cormac, with David Cortelli named as the long-standing contact for one household that has used the service for over a decade.

Work described includes gutter clearing on single and two-storey homes, tiled roof cleaning and solar panel cleaning, with one customer noting that panels are attended to only when they genuinely need it. Communication before and after the visit is frequently praised, as is the willingness to report potential roof problems. Customers also describe the pricing as fair for the standard of work, and the teams as polite, friendly and competent, with jobs completed in good time across Brisbane's southern suburbs.
