iWash Rugs

iWash Rugs is a family-owned and operated rug washing business based in Bendigo. Dale started Advanced Floor Care in 2017, and in 2019 travelled to Sydney to gain extensive experience and training in rug washing. The company holds IICRC certifications in rug washing and cleaning, carpet cleaning, colour repair, upholstery and fabric cleaning, odour control, journeyman textile cleaner, applied microbial remediation, water damage restoration, and floor care for hard surfaces.

It completed AGI Rug Revival training in rug washing and cleaning, along with Colourful Carpets colour repair, Leather Finishing Products Australia leather repair and cleaning, Tact Specialised Training, and trauma cleaning and meth decontamination. The company cleans Oriental rugs including Persian, Egyptian, Turkish, Indian, wool and cotton, silk, natural plant fibre rugs, fur such as sheepskin, bearskin and cowhide, and antique and delicate rugs. It offers rug pickup and delivery. The company states it is the only rug cleaning company in regional Victoria that can clean delicate and specialized rugs without damaging them.

Bendigo customers have been sending their rugs to iWash Rugs for years, and the accounts they give back share a clear pattern. Rugs described as decades old, faded, stained or simply worn out return looking fresh and soft, with several reviewers saying their pieces came back like new. The recurring praise centres on the transformation itself: wool and silk rugs that had been written off as ready for replacement were revived, and one customer noted that fading had been corrected along with repairs.

Reviews regularly refer to the convenience of collection and delivery, with rugs picked up from homes and returned after roughly a week or two, and a tracking link provided so arrival times could be followed. Communication before and after the job earns consistent credit, from the reception staff to the driver, who is singled out for friendliness and rug knowledge. Named staff such as Josh, Dale and Michelle appear in accounts of careful handling and customer care. Reviewers also note that furniture was moved to help with collection, that the process felt streamlined and reasonably priced, and that protection treatments were offered to keep rugs cleaner for longer.
