Carpet cleaning is the service most often associated with McEwans Cleaning in Mackay, and the feedback from customers is genuinely mixed. A number of reviewers describe positive outcomes, with carpets coming up well and smelling fresh, and praise the team for being friendly and punctual. Several customers highlight the consistency of the staff and describe the service as worth the money, with results that met their expectations. Others, however, report a different experience. One recurring complaint concerns communication and follow-up after a booking was made, with a customer stating that calls were not returned and a promised time was never confirmed.

Another account describes a carpet clean that was considered unsatisfactory, and when the customer asked for the work to be redone, the response was described as rude. A further reviewer describes the job as poor and advises against using the company. The pattern across the feedback is that while some customers are very satisfied with the cleaning and the team, others have had problems with booking communication and the standard of the finished work, making the experience inconsistent depending on the job.
