A1 End of Lease Cleaning Melbourne

Absolutely awful unprofessional service that I had on 12th January 2024. My rental agent had to charge me to additional steam cleaning carpet services so I did not get my full bond back as promised / advertised. In addition they were rude to both myself and Barry Plant agent. I am pursuing the matter through Consumer Affairs. Sarah

Hired them for end of lease clean. They demand money upfront otherwise they won't do the job. Once job is completed, they leave the property without Owner inspecting their job. The house is left without locking! They state they will Not Do the job if owner is at the property after taking the money they tell their terms & conditions after you pay. When they clean no one should be at the property. When asked to return to do the job they will turn around and make excuses making it sound they are right, and you are demanding too much. When you show them something is missed they will say that is deep clean and detailing, which is not part of the checklist. Basically, you as a consumer have to accept their poor quality of work, while they walk away with their easy money. I have double story house and only 1 person came to clean the house. They don’t even scrub the bathroom they use high power hose just to wash. Soap scums is still there. When you ask them why the moulds are still there they will say the bathroom needs grouting! Strangely i was able to remove the moulds with normal detergent and they couldn't. My photos will show the quality of work they did. Kitchen cupboards still have oil and grease on them, oven not cleaned from inside range hood has oil on it , wall staking not wiped giving the excuse it is due to steam cleaning. And when you ask for a date when will they come and fix the Owner will BLOCK your phone number. DO NOT HIRE THEM.

End of Lease cleaning - would not hire this company ever again. They turned up late with no prior warning. They asked for money upfront. Only one cleaner for a 3 bedroom house. Barely cleaned any of the areas. Had asked them to come in again to redo basically everything - with a detailed list from the realtor - they ignored it and said it was all done. I asked for a refund and was flat out refused.

Where to start.. I do not have 1 positive thing to say about this business. Initially very hard to communicate with, no time was made to meet at the property until the day of the 'clean', although many messages had been sent requesting this prior. Ricky was extremely unpleasant and rude on the phone. When calling him to inform him that his cleaners did a less than sub-par job, he yelled at me and said "what do you want me to do about it?" The cleaner did return to rectify the job, although I am not convinced that they did anything other than drove into the driveway and turned around again just to say they went back to the property. When I called again to say that our condition report was returned and the same things that I had previously pointed out over text had been picked up by our real-estate agent I was sworn at and told "he knows about people like me, trying to rip him off and get a refund". He then told me to never call him again and blocked my phone number. When I called again from a different number he was initially ok to deal with, until I informed him that the cleaner was unable to return and therefore I wanted a partial refund, he told me he is just trying to 'run a business', and 'he is pleasant to most of his customers but he knows who he needs to be rude too' and then proceeded to tell me to 'f&%k off and never call him again'. They also lied about the quote, forced payment prior to clean completion, and are very aggressive to deal with. Proceed with extreme caution if you chose to use the alleged 'service' they are claiming they provide. If I can attach photo's bellow this review, I will show text evidence of their appalling service.

Absolutely horrible service. I requested an end of lease cleaning with this company and the work was of such poor standards I was forced to hire another company to avoid losing a % of my bond. Ricky, who I believe is the owner, was extremely rude on the phone both times I spoke with him. He repetitively used abusive, vulgar language and cursed at me directly for demanding him to finish the job. I would strongly recommend NEVER hiring their services.

Wanted an End of lease clean. I should have known there was a problem from the beginning when the cleaner called to tell me that he would not start the job until Ricky received my full payment, which in itself isn’t how you run a business. The end of lease clean was non existent. We had to pay to get another company in to fix all of the problems we had including an AWFUL smell that came from damp wet carpets without proper ventilation, that other company ended up telling me they weren’t even steam clean just…wet with water…I was promised in writing a refund of my steam cleaned carpets and oven cleaning (as they thought the rest was up to scratch which it wasn’t) and said refund still has not come through. In order to get this refund I had to contact “Ricky” far too many times, once I was actually hung up on by him. Please be warned not to go with this company.. Ricky is unprofessional and rude… I will be spreading the word all over social media so that no one wastes their money with these people. They don’t do the job they are paid upfront for. And when a refund is promised nothing comes through even after over a week. Steer clear everyone take your money elsewhere.

Cancelled a clean because they couldn't find a car park after arriving 20 minutes late. Then proceeded to tell my partner I was drunk (at 8am). Rude, entitled, unprofessional. Would rather lose my bond than recommend these hacks to anyone that values their time.
