ChemDry Locals

Chem-Dry Locals is a locally-owned Chem-Dry franchise based in Adelaide. Named staff include Vicky, Dave, and Shane; Dave and Shane were paramedics before starting this business. The Chem-Dry cleaning process uses 80% less water than typical steam cleaning, and carpets cleaned by Chem-Dry dry within 1 to 2 hours.

The company uses the P.U.R.T.® (Pet Urine Removal Treatment) product for pet urine odour removal. Services include carpet, upholstery, rug, mattress, leather furniture, pet urine odour removal, commercial, protection and sanitisation, specialty stain removal, and water damage restoration.

Stubborn pet stains and lingering odours are the recurring problem customers bring to this Adelaide carpet and upholstery specialist, and the outcomes described are consistently impressive. Reviewers repeatedly mention Dave and Shane by name, praising their thoroughness, experience and readiness to explain each step before beginning work. A leather couch, a cream fabric sofa, three rugs and light grey carpets all feature in accounts where the result is described as looking new again, with ingrained marks and animal smells removed.

One thing mentioned again and again is how quickly a call-out is answered, with one customer describing a same-day response that rescued both the carpet and the day. Pricing is described as fair, including for three rugs cleaned in a single visit. Vicki also receives thanks for excellent service, and customers speak of friendly, professional dealings from first contact through to completion. Upholstery, rug, mattress and tile cleaning appear alongside carpet work, and several people mention rebooking for regular maintenance cleans. Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are the qualities most often singled out.
