Swift Carpet Cleaners

Swift Carpet Cleaners has been operating continuously since 1950, providing 74 years of continuous service to South Australia. Alan Yarbrough is the Managing Director and started in 1985. Wilford Wood is the Customer Service Manager, and Teresa Phillips is the Office Administrator and joined the team in 2009. The company provides carpet cleaning in Adelaide for homes and businesses. It offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee and is fully bonded and insured.

Carpet cleaning uses engine powered truck mounted equipment, and the company operates a rug laundry. NDIS support services are available. Services are provided on a one-off, weekly or fortnightly basis. Cleaners are vetted and background-checked, and the same cleaner is kept for every visit. All cleaning materials and equipment are provided. The company has regular customers who have used their services for over 40 years.

It follows Australian Standards guidelines and offers a free quote with immediate online quotes. The cleaning crew are professionally trained. Recleaning is offered if unhappy with any area cleaned. Services include carpet cleaning, rug cleaning, pet stain removal, sofa cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, slate sealing, window cleaning, pressure cleaning, fire, smoke and soot restoration, Persian rug cleaning, water damage restoration, carpet repair, mould cleaning, and NDIS support services.

Swift Carpet Cleaners has earned a strong name across Adelaide for the careful cleaning of rugs and carpets, with Andrew singled out time and again by customers as the knowledgeable figure behind the work. He is described as professional and genuinely expert on fibres and stains, able to guide customers towards the right treatment and to give a realistic timeframe for the job. Recurring accounts centre on results that seemed unlikely: pet stains and odours lifted from wool carpets, a white rug restored from mid grey to brilliant white, a beer stain removed and a Persian rug revived after earlier attempts had failed.

A large rug that had turned smelly through dogs and puppies was cleaned to satisfaction and within the budget the owner had in mind. Collection and return of rugs is noted, along with thorough work that leaves items looking and smelling fresh. Punctuality and reliability come up repeatedly, as does friendly, attentive service throughout the job. Pricing is described as competitive or around average, one long-standing customer remarking that it had barely moved in six years. Rugs returned looking close to new remain the theme that stands out most.
