Illawarra Clean

I finally found a cleaning company that actually does what they promise. We live in Port Kembla and have been through five different cleaners in the past two years. Illawarra Clean is completely different, they stick to their schedule, use quality products, and don't rush through the job. The team spent extra time on our bathroom tiles and kitchen benches. House feels fresh and clean for days afterward. Already booked them for monthly service.

We've had them cleaning our place in Wollongong for about six weeks now. Every second Thursday, same time, same person. She already knows we don't want the spare room touched and that the kitchen is the priority. It's nice not having to explain things twice. It’s reassuring that the house just stays on top of itself now and we can have our weekends back.

I’ve been using them weekly for about three months at our place in Port Kembla. It’s always the same cleaner, which I really appreciate, she knows the house, understands what we care about, and doesn’t need any reminders. The 15% discount on weekly cleans is a nice bonus too. Honestly, it’s been one of the easiest decisions I’ve made this year. If you’re looking for a cleaning service in Wollongong or nearby areas, they’re the one to go with.

My partner and I both work odd hours and cleaning just kept falling through the cracks. A mate in Shellharbour put us onto Illawarra Clean. They come every Monday while we're out and we come home to a house that actually feels calm. Floors and bathrooms done, kitchen wiped down. It's not complicated but it makes a real difference to the week.

Booked a one-off deep clean before family came to stay. They followed a proper checklist, you could tell it wasn't just a surface wipe-down. Cleaned the oven, fridge, doorknobs and switches, all the things that usually get skipped. Payment came through after the job was done, not before, which I thought was a good sign. Happy with how it turned out.

I have a young child at home so I was careful about what products get used. The team that came to our home in the Kiama area and brought their own eco-friendly supplies, which I was glad about. They also reassured me that all staff are police-checked which made me comfortable enough to leave them to it while I did the school run. Their cleaning services have been consistent each time.

Both my partner and I work full time and the house had definitely started to feel a bit neglected. We began using their fortnightly service about three months ago, and it’s honestly taken a lot of pressure off. The place stays clean and fresh, and we finally get our weekends back instead of spending them catching up on chores.
